In June 8 - 12, 2011 - the 7th Klaudia Taev International Competition for Young Singers took place. 83 participants came from 24 countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, South-Korea, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA and Estonia. 

As a part of the Competition the opera production of Attila by G. Verdi was staged in Theatre Endla with the winner of the previous the 6th Klaudia Taev Competition Anatoli Sivko (Belarus) performing in the title role.
