The main prize
of the Klaudia Taev Competition is the proposal to perform a major operatic role, which is selected at the request of the winner of the competition and will be performed in the next PromFest in 2021. 

The winner has the right to name any role which he/she desires to perform. PromFest will make every effort to accommodate the prize winner's wish. In case if there is no winner, then the production will be chosen by the artistic director of PromFest according to role options suitable for the second prize winner(s).

The Jury will grant also the following monetary awards : 
€ 4500  - First Prize 

€ 3400  - Second Prize
€ 2300  - Third Prize
€   500 - Finalist

The Jury may award additional prizes.

The Jury reserves the right to divide prizes, except for the First Prize. In this case, the Jury will add the monetary value of prizes together and reconsider the amount of every award.

The Jury reserves the right not to award a prize (including First Prize) if they feel that there is no finalist deserving it. In that case, the place may remain vacant. In case if there is no First prize, then the Second prize must be awarded.

The Awards Ceremony will be held following the finals. 

In addition to monetary awards, the prize winners of the Competition will be considered for engagements to the PromFest's opera production produced in 2021-2022 and to opera houses or opera studios in Europe.
